Elevation
Elevation from Boylston Street. Glass tower now should appear to be an extension of the Pru Tower behind it. Tree-like columns help to support the grassy roof deck. Both buildings clad with a glass skin - a series of panels that are joined together by metal brackets. Ramp leading to plaza park now extends across the park (in order to fulfill ADA requirements).
Happy Valentines Day everyone! What a *cough* great day it is, right?!

Happy V-day to you too. You know what I like about your elevation? The scale figures! Something about them really works...I'm not sure if its their color, or the way they are all "doing" something, or their positioning. But it really, really adds something to your elevation in this case. Scale figures don't always do a lot in drawings successfully, but I think they're tremendously supportive and helpful here. I especially like the one going up the ramp on the left, because otherwise, I'm not sure that would read as a series of ramps (taken by itself, without the benefit of a plan). But that dude walking up the middle ramp really makes that clear.
Pretty nice for a pirate!
The overscale pattern on the tower creates an effective contrast to its relatively diminuitive size!
The color looks a little washed out - create some graphic accents by giving crisp outlines to the structural elements (try only one side of each post - don't take this as a literal, but a graphic task) or add shadow and indicate the transparency by showing what's beyond (swimmers, etc).
The side elevation of the pool with the random pattern of openings is not convincing: either simplify or add more of random windows. The latter would probably work better.
Can you try to do a night view??

Michelle,
I like how your project has a flow feeling to it. Besides the water, it seems that people will flow through the different areas and up the ramps in something of a backwards waterfall motion. Like Enno said, I think a night shot would be neat especially because your previous Section C has an oscillating horizontal divide between apple store and fitness area is not as obvious in your elevation. This would have a very different look from daytime to night. Looks great.

I think the drawings are really pretty, Michelle. I think the street elevation could use some more definition. I didn't notice the waterfall right away with all the blues and i think that might be something you want to emphasize. I also love your scale figures! Fun!
Hey you!
I like the "tree-like" columns that you brought up in your brief narrative. It might be kind of cool to detail up a connection point; the beams/trusses could be braced on these columns or could continue over the top kind of like the green canopy of the tree does. It might be getting really detailed, but a quick sketch, diagram or analytical study of these "tree-like" columns could be really nice and strengthen the whole story that your design tells.
